Final board
How to play
2-cost reroll Stay at level 6 and slow roll above 50 gold for 3-star 2-costs before leveling further.

Play it when
- You find
Kayle copies early and can slam
Guinsoo's Rageblade. - You also hold pairs of
Leona or
Varus. - You are fine skipping early levels to save gold.

Stage 2
Open with
Kayle and whatever upgraded frontline you hit. Don't buy XP at 2-1 – the comp wants gold. Slam
Guinsoo's Rageblade for Kayle as soon as you can, then put the next components into tank items. Level 4 at 2-3 and save the rest. - 3

Why it works
Solar (
Sejuani,
Leona,
Kayle) gives your team a shield worth 5% max Health and 8% bonus magic damage, and both grow with every unique 3-star champion; at five 3-stars, 40% of that bonus magic damage turns into true damage. That is why the board aims for five 3-stars: Kayle, Sejuani, Leona,
Shen and
Varus. Kayle's passive ascends with her star level – at 2 stars her attacks Shred 20% Magic Resist, at 3 stars every attack fires a wave that hits all other units in its path, so
Guinsoo's Rageblade comes first.
Diana,
Aphelios and a
Lunar Emblem on Varus give you 3
Lunar, which together with Solar turns on
Eclipse: after a few seconds of combat it kills the lowest-Health enemy and keeps repeating, so every extra second your frontline survives is worth damage.
When to pivot
If other players are also rolling for
Solar units, don't fight for copies: push levels earlier and make 4-costs such as
Aphelios your main damage.
Lux (either version) is a good late upgrade to cap the board. A
Lunar Emblem saves you from having to find
Alune for the third
Lunar.
Flex options
Tips
- Place
Sejuani alone in front,
Kayle and
Aphelios side by side on the right of the back row –
Lunar also buffs the attack speed and Ability Power of adjacent allies.
Kayle:
Guinsoo's Rageblade first, then either
Rabadon's Deathcap +
Red Buff or
Jeweled Gauntlet + Rabadon's Deathcap – both work.- Leftover items can go on
Shen or
Alune. - When unsure what to build next, pick another tank item: a longer fight gives
Eclipse more kills.
