How to play

Fast 8 Keep a healthy economy, reach level 8 early in stage 4 and roll there for your 4-cost carries.

  2. 52-5
  3. 63-2
  4. 74-1
  5. 84-2Roll down
  6. 95-5

Play it when

  • You open with Cinderling, Pebbles or other early Riftbeasts plus AD components.
  • You collect a lot of B.F. Swords or get Swordsmith.
  • You are offered Beast Within or Beast Within+.

Game plan

  1. 2

    Stage 2

Open with a strong AD board around a 2-star Cinderling and other Riftbeasts, and slam AD and tank items to win streak. Level 4 at 2-1 and 5 at 2-5.

  2. 3

    Stage 3

The comp eats B.F. Swords, so take them from augments and the carousel whenever you can. Level 6 at 3-2. You can play 5 Riftbeast here: every third combat your next shop is filled with Riftbeasts, which helps you find upgrades.

  3. 4

    Stage 4

Level 7 at 4-1 and 8 at 4-2, then roll down for Nidalee, Sivir and Malphite. If someone else is holding Malphite, tank with Sentinel or Krug instead.

  4. 5

    Stage 5

With a stable board, go to level 9 around 5-5. At max cap the Riftbeasts make room for Gnar, Ashe and Taric – Ashe also adds another Hunter.

Why it works

Sivir and Nidalee share Primal, which lets you pick a blessing – and the Sivir Primal augments, Beast Within and Beast Within+, grant a second one. Sivir throws a crossblade that bounces between nearby enemies and bounces extra times when it kills, so she cleans up clumped boards. Nidalee gains attack speed for her next three attacks, which turn into javelins, and the third javelin goes for the furthest enemy with the fewest items. Kog'Maw is Caustic: his damage Shreds and Sunders enemies by 30%, so you can skip Last Whisper and Void Staff. Malphite holds the front alone – as a Monolith he gains 10 Armor and Magic Resist for every enemy targeting him. Cinderling and Sivir add 2 Hunter, Cinderling, Krug and Sentinel give 3 Riftbeast with the Alpha Mark, and Rek'Sai with Malphite open Blackthorn.

When to pivot

If Sivir, Nidalee or Malphite are contested, hold Aphelios and Brambleback copies during your rolldown and move the damage onto them. Without Malphite, Sett with Vanguard units can hold the front line. Sivir also carries a Fae version with Ashe, Ivern and Tristana, and a Juggernaut fast 9 with Ashe and Maokai.
