Game plan

  1. 2

    Stage 2

Play a strong AP opener – Blossom with Karma, Yorick and Yunara is ideal – and slam generic AP and tank items to win streak. If the opener is weak, lose streak toward 50 gold instead.

  2. 3

    Stage 3

Level 6 at 3-2. Hold Juggernauts that pair with Yorick, and move Karma's items to LeBlanc or a 2-star Cassiopeia. Play Zyra as soon as you find her. Level 7 at 4-1.

  3. 4

    Stage 4

Level 8 at 4-2 and roll for 6 Juggernaut, Zyra and a second carry. Until Amumu is 2-star, a 2-star Vi is the better main tank.

  4. 5

    Stage 5

Once Zyra is 2-star, push 9 around 5-5 for Ivern or another 5-cost.

Why it works

6 Juggernaut (Rakan, Yorick, Scuttlecrab, Vi, Maokai, Amumu) gives the whole team Durability and the Juggernauts themselves much more, so the front row melts very slowly. Zyra adds her own layer: her unique trait gives the team 5% Durability, rising to 10% while 6 or more of her plants are alive. Her ability spawns plants around the battlefield that each attack the nearest enemy 10 times, and 2 Summoner (Zyra, Yorick) gives those plants 4 extra attacks and Yorick's summons more Health. Fights run long, so Archangel's Staff has time to stack a lot of Ability Power on both carries. Nidalee in her AP form throws three empowered javelins, the last one at the furthest enemy with the fewest items, so she picks off the back line. Vi and Nidalee activate Primal, which lets you choose a Primal Blessing, and Ivern shields two allies and gives them Damage Amp.

When to pivot

AD version: Sivir and Ashe replace Nidalee and Ivern behind the same Juggernaut front – take it if your items are AD. With a Juggernaut Emblem, Kennen is the best holder. Lux and Draven are other strong late additions.
